Yup, it’s safari time! And better still, our accommodation for the night is right on the border of this famous wildlife haven. With chances of seeing the famous Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo) plus hundreds of native bird species, ancient trees and meandering rivers. We'll discover who in the group has the 'Luck of the bush' and best spotting eyes. For lunch you’ll dine with locals and visit their Eco Village which ensures a better future for this impoverished but hopeful community. You might want to pack your raincoat, as during certain times of the year you can get drenched from the rising spray, giving the falls its local name: 'The smoke that thunders'. The evening will end off with a magnificent sunset cruise on the Zambezi including drinks and dinner. Please note: From January to June this trip puts you in the Victoria Falls Waterfront Hotel, Zambia, with a riverside deck and bar that overlooks the spray of the thunderous falls. Travelling from July to December? We have a private Contiki site just for us, with our own guides, cooks and a bonfire – all set under the stars. Catch you later, city life!
